The Leeds Direct Arena has a unique “Super Theatre” style which can hold up to 13,000 people all with a view of the stage.


Tea and Coffee will be on sale throughout the arena and there are a number of food concessions available within the arena and many places to eat within walking distance of the arena.

Getting to the Arena

The arena is located next to the A58(M) and provides links out of the City Centre to the east joining the the A64 York Road, add to the south and west connecting to the M621 and other destinations within Leeds and to the wider motorway network via the M62.

There are  over 7,500 car parking spaces within an easy walk of the arena.  The arena doe not have it’s own car park but there are lot’s of options nearby.

Q-Park offers arena visitors discounted parking at a number of car parks within Leeds.

Woodhouse Lane offers 1,272 spaces and has easy access to the ring road.

Merrion Car Park located adjacent to the arena and is the closest car park however visitors may experience delay’s leaving this location due to traffic and restrictions.

None of the above car parks are operated by the arena.

Accessible Car Parking

Leeds City Station on New Street is approximately a 15 minute walk from the arena.  Frequent trains run from many major cities such as:

  • London: 2 hrs 15 mins
  • Manchester: 1hr 30 mins
  • Glasgow: 4 hrs 30 mins
  • Birmingham: 2 hrs
  • Cardiff: 4 hrs
  • Bristol: 4 hrs


Leeds City station provides accessible ticket machines and accessible ticket office counter, an induction loop, ramp access on and off the trains.

The coach station is located on Dyer Street next to Leeds City bus station and is approximately a 15 minute walk to the arena.  Coaches run from all major cities such as:

  • London: 4 hrs 30 mins
  • Manchester: 1 hr 
  • Glasgow: 7 hrs 
  • Birmingham: 3 hrs 55 mins
  • Cardiff: 6 hrs 10 mins
  • Bristol: 6 hrs


The coach provider have a dedicated team to help with disabled customers.  You will need to call the provider to book at least 36 hours in advance of when you want to travel.  Tel: 08717 81 81 79 (Option 4).


Leeds Bradford Airport is located just 8 miles outside of the city centre of Leeds.  Transport to and from the city is easy and can be made by:

  • Bus – A regular bus service the Flying Tiger runs daily from 4.30 am to midnight.  The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and the fare is around £3.50 per person.
  • Taxi – There are kiosks available just outside of the arrivals hall.  Delegates have the option to pre-book or book at the kiosks on arrival.  The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • Car Hire – Leeds Bradford has a dedicated Car Rental Centre with a 24/7 free of charge shuttle bus that leaves from just outside the main terminal to the car hire centre.


The area is fully accessible with lifts and escalators to all floors.  There are accessible toilet facilities on all levels.  If you have any accessibility needs please indicate on the registration form or contact us via the contact form.

Wheelchairs can be hired at the event but there are a limited number available.  If you wish to hire a wheelchair for the event please indicate on the registration form so we can assure the wheelchair is ready and waiting for you on arrival.

Assistance dogs are welcomed at the arena.  A number of seats in the arena incorporate extra space to the front of them.  An extra area is provided for assistance dog toilet facility.  Please indicate on the registration form.

Seats are available close to the stage but these are limited and so must be indicated on the registration form to assist with providing the most suitable seat for you.

A RF induction loop is installed which provides coverage throughout the arena.  Several meeting will be signed for the deaf and indicated on the programme of events.
